Description

A vibrant and flavorful garlic sauce made with yogurt and kefir, perfect for drizzling on various dishes or using as a dip.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain Greek yogurt (full-fat)
  • 1/2 cup Kefir (plain, unflavored)
  • 3 Fresh garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (fresh preferred)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cracked black pepper
  • Optional: Chopped fresh herbs (like dill or parsley)
  • Optional: A sprinkle of cumin or smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the minced garlic into the yogurt and kefir until well combined.
  2. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  3. If using, add any optional ingredients and mix well.
  4. Let the sauce chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before serving.
