A quick and easy flatbread recipe using kefir and yogurt for a fluffy, tangy bread perfect for dips or wraps.

- 1 cup kefir
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: 1 teaspoon sugar or garlic powder
- Optional: Herbs for seasoning
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together kefir and yogurt.
- Add flour, salt, baking powder, and optional sugar or sourdough starter; stir until a rough dough forms.
- Knead the dough slightly until it comes together, then cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the rested dough into 6 balls and roll each one flat to desired thickness.
- Heat a skillet and drizzle with olive oil. Cook each flatbread until bubbles form, flip, and cook until golden brown.
- Keep the cooked flatbreads warm in a towel until serving.
Notes
For fluffier bread, let the dough rest longer or use warmer settings. Brush with garlic butter after cooking for added flavor.
