Description

A refreshing and probiotic-rich cooler made with watermelon, mint, and coconut water, perfect for summer vibes.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, diced
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/4 cup water kefir
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Jalapeño slices (optional for spice)
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar

Instructions

  1. Blend the diced watermelon until smooth.
  2. In a large glass jar, combine the watermelon puree, coconut water, water kefir, mint leaves, jalapeño slices (if using), and sugar.
  3. Stir gently to mix the ingredients.
  4. Cover the jar with cheesecloth and secure it with a rubber band.
  5. Let it ferment at room temperature for 24-48 hours.
  6. Once fermented, strain into bottles and refrigerate.
  7. Serve chilled, garnished with additional mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Experiment with different fruits and herbs for unique flavor combinations. For a fizzier drink, bottle it and let it ferment a bit more before refrigerating.
