Ingredients

- 8 oz good quality dark or semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup full-fat plain kefir
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- Cocoa powder, chopped nuts, or sprinkles for coating
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Stir in the Irish cream and kefir until well combined.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until firm, about 1 hour.
- Scoop small portions and roll them into spheres.
- Coat the truffles in cocoa powder, nuts, or your choice of toppings.
- Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
For extra flavor, experiment with flavored Irish cream or add spices like espresso or cayenne. These truffles are best served at room temperature.
